Payment Options

Making Your Care Affordable in Simi Valley, CA

We are committed to providing you with high quality dental care and we want you to have comfortable options for payment. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders, and most major credit cards. Payment is expected at the time services are performed.  Feel free to contact our office if your treatment plan requires more comprehensive dental work and you want to discuss financial arrangements.

Dental Insurance

As a service to our patients, our practice accepts most dental insurance programs, including non-managed care, Delta Premiere, indemnity (traditional) and PPO out-of-network.  We are not part of any managed care network. When you give us your insurance information, we will research your insurance plan and we will make an educated guess on what your insurance may pay.  Your insurance is not meant to be a "pay all" benefit.  With every dental treatment, you should always expect to pay a deductible and a copayment.  The fees charged for services rendered to those who are insured are the usual and customary fees charged to all our patients for similar services. Your policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our usual fees. You should be aware that different insurance companies vary greatly in the types of coverage available. Also, some companies take care of claims promptly while others delay payment for several months.

On the day of your dental appointment you will be expected to pay your estimated portion which includes your insurance deductible and copayment.  Your insurance plan is a third party to us.  If your insurance plan pays less than our educated guess, than you are personally responsible for the balance of your bill. Your bill with us expected to be settled in 30 days.  Our accounting staff will prepare all the necessary forms for your dental benefits. However, we remind you that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated. Our staff will gladly submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company so that you will know what your benefits will be.

As your dental care providers, we are legally and ethically bound to recommend the best dental treatment options for your health.  Your dental insurance may have rules and exclusions that disallow payment on the best treatment for your health.  Good dental health is important for your comfort, overall health and self esteem.  When your dental insurance does not pay for the treatment that is in your best interest we recommend that you take advantage of our variety of payment options so that you can take charge and invest in your own health.
